About Us

Nature Reserve Burial Grounds is a small family business with three directors, Emma Restall Orr, David Orr and Mark Graham.

Emma is the person who works full time for the burial ground; she is likely to be the one you speak to if you call the office or the mobile. She will meet you at the burial ground and be on hand at funerals. Mark is our ecologist and David keeps the technical side running smoothly in the office, as well as doing much of the maintenance work at the burial ground itself.

The company is built upon strong social and environmental ethics. Wherever possible we work with sole traders, craftsmen and family businesses, instead of large companies, sourcing locally where we can. We have ethical banking and insurance.

Our regular gravedigging service is John Shelton Burial Services, based in Princethorpe, itself another family business established in 1986.
