In Harmony with Nature
Although a natural burial ground does not allow headstones, there are other ways in which a loved one can be remembered.
The principal way is through the living memorial of a tree. These Memorial Trees can be planted to grow as part of a developing woodland. After a number of years, instead of specific trees, the whole woodland becomes the memorial to those who we have loved and buried there. Where we are seeking something more individual, we can plant a Parkland Oak, a tree that will grow into its full canopy.
As well as trees, there is the options of commissioning personal memorial plaques. These are hand-engraved in slate, and therefore last for hundres of years. We are also able to offer a limited number of memorial benches, that can be engraved or set with a plaque. Where appropriate, bird and bat boxes are also available.
As a site develops, there are often other ways in which a person's name and dates can be remembered. Please enquire as to what is currently available in terms of options.
There is also the option of having an Online Memorial created especially for your loved one.
