Remember that the burial ground will only be a part of your funeral costs. The funeral director may be arranging the coffin, transport and care for your loved one between the time of death and interment. Furthermore, if your funeral director makes the necessary arrangements directly with us, they may add an administrative charge.

Interment Costs : these include all the ordinary site costs for the commital or funeral, including grave digging and administration. They are payable at the time of burial.

Note: where a coffin is too large for one plot, two plots will need to be purchased and interment costs will be given on application to the office.
Tree Memorials (information)

| Slate Tree Plaque | £55 |
Woodland Family Area Trees (information) : when grave plots are bought in a Woodland Family Area, trees are not planted until the whole area is full. Once full, a suitable mix of trees will be planted. This may be twenty years or more following interment.

All grave plots bought in a Woodland Family area are subject to this charge. Alternatively, family plots can be bought in the Meadow Areas.
Slate Tree Plaques are not available in Woodland Family Areas, but we would recommend instead the purchase of a Memorial Slate Post Plaque.
Memorial Plaques (information) : Where memorial trees are bought, a slate plaque may also be purchased. These are placed on a short wooden post beside the tree. Around the site, there are also large Memorial Posts for which slate plaques may be bought. Similarly, upon the inner lintel of the memorial roundhouse, plaques can be secured.
