Interment of Cremated Remains

There is a wide choice for the interment of cremated remains at Sun Rising Natural Burial Ground.

Plots can be taken in the Wildflower Meadows, beneath Parkland Oaks, by Memorial Posts or around the Roundhouse.

If a family wish to plant a Memorial Tree on the grave, we have a specific area at the site, a part of which is pictured here. Small slate tree plaques are permitted to the side of the trees.

Cremated remains cannot be interred in the plastic contains provided by crematoria, nor usually the boxes used by funeral directors. More information can be found on our general page on cremated remains.
