Opening Hours

The burial ground itself is open from dawn until dusk, every day of the year.

Our office hours are 9 - 5, Monday to Friday. Please feel free to telephone or email us, and we will be happy to answer any of your queries. If you happen to telephone us outside of office hours, however, there may well be someone to pick up your call, and if your enquiry is urgent don't hesitate to ring. Any messages left on the mobile phone will be picked up fairly quickly, although only urgent messages will be addressed out of office hours.

Instead of using the office, meetings are arranged at the burial ground itself. This enables families to see the site and get a feel of it. All paperwork can be done at the site, or - when time allows - you can take away the forms, go through them on the phone with us, or send them back to us when you've had time to ponder.

We are flexible as to the timing of funerals, particularly where religious traditions are concerned. There is, however, a surcharge for burials at weekends and on bank holidays, or where our grave digging service levies an extra charge.
